With the Golden State Warriors embarking on a five-game road trip, this was not the way that they wanted to start the trip.

Elton Brand scored 23 points and grabbed 12 rebounds, as the Philadelphia 76ers defeated the Warriors 89-81 at the Wachovia Center.

Andre Iguodala scored 15 points, as the 76ers moved above the .500 mark for the first time, while the Warriors lost for the second time in a row.

Kelenna Azubuike scored 16 points to lead the Warriors, while both Stephen Jackson and C.J. Watson each scored 12.

Andris Biedrins scored 10 points and grabbed eight rebounds in the eight-point victorious 76ers.
