When you think about the top players in the NBA, you think about Kobe Bryant, Lebron James and Tim Duncan; however there is another player on that list.
That other player would be Chris Paul of the New Orleans Hornets, who is just his fourth season in the NBA, is vastly in that upper echelon of top players.
Paul scored on a lay-up with 19.4 seconds remaining in the game, as the Hornets defeated the Golden State Warriors 108-103, spoiling the Warriors home opener at Oracle Arena.
On the evening, Paul scored 21 points, but was not the leading scorer, as David West scored a team high 24 points for the victorious Hornets.
In his Warriors debut, Corey Maggette led the team with 27, while Stephen Jackson added 26, but the Warriors received little from their bench.
While the Hornets bench scored 28 between four players, the Warriors received a grand total of 17 points from Kelenna Azubuike.
