After losing Baron Davis to the Los Angeles Clippers, Chris Mullin decided to go after one of the Clippers prominent free agents.
Corey Maggette, who played his entire NBA career for the Clippers will move to Northern California and will play for the Golden State Warriors after signing a five-year worth approximately $50 million.
Besides signing Maggette, the Warriors also signed Ronny Turiaf to an offer sheet.
The Warriors gave Turiaf a four-year contract worth $17 million, but there is a catch to the Warriors signing Turiaf.
The former Gonzaga Bulldogs power forward is a restricted free agent, and the Los Angeles Lakers have seven days to match the Warriors offer.
Last season, Turiaf started 21 games for the Lakers, who made it all the way to the NBA Finals, where they lost to the Boston Celtics in six games.
