Chris Mullin and the Golden State Warriors went to the Southeastern Conference to find their draft picks of the 2008 NBA Draft.

With the 14th pick of the first round, the Warriors drafted forward Anthony Randolph, who played his college basketball for the LSU Tigers.

In his only season with the Tigers, Randolph averaged 15.6 points and grabbed 8.5 rebounds per game, while playing for John Brady and Butch Pierre, after Brady was fired.

Besides Randolph, the Warriors drafted Richard Hendrix, who played for Mark Gottfried at the University of Alabama.

Last season for the Crimson Tide, Randolph averaged 17.8 points per game, while averaging 10.1 rebounds, as the Crimson Tide went 16-15.

On the Bay Area, four players with Bay Area ties were drafted.

Twins Brook and Robin Lopez from Stanford were drafted by the New Jersey Nets and the Phoenix Suns respectively.

Brook was drafted with the number 10 pick, while Robin was picked five picks later by the Phoenix Suns.

The last time the Suns picked number 15 was in the 1996 NBA Draft, when they drafted Steve Nash out of Santa Clara.

Ryan Anderson from CAL was drafted by the Nets with the 21st pick where he will team with Brook next season.

In the second round, DeVon Hardin also of CAL was drafted by the Seattle Supersonics.
