OAKLAND--The Warriors pick sixth in the NBA draft this coming Thursday and it's anybody's guess who their going to get. Although some projections have them picking Greg Monroe power forward from Georgetown. They could be five players deep at the very top of the draft after those first five players it's debatable as to whose suppose to go next.

This really depends on who you talk to, for the most part the guys going ahead of the Warriors everybody seems to agree that power forward John Wall from Kentucky is going to be number one to the Wizards, Evan Turner guard from Ohio State is likely to go number two, power forward Derrick Favors from Georgia Tech is rated number three, and some combination of small forward Wesly Johnson from Syracuse and DeMarcus Cousins power forward and center from Kentucky are going fourth and fifth to Minnesota and Sacramento respectively.

That's where you get the Warriors who come in the sixth spot in the draft and the next group of guys they should be picking from is a real mixed bag. There's no super duper stars there but there's a lot of very good players. What you’re looking at here is your trying to figure out exactly who the Warriors need as far as position.

There's the added intrigue of the Warriors sale and how that will impact the draft and Larry Reilly from the Warriors he's in charge of the draft and sounds like he said he's going to continue to be in that position at least through the draft.

Whoever the new owners are it doesn't seem as though it's going to make any impact right his second on how the draft goes. What the Warriors are looking for from Reilly's prospective. He's looking for the best available player, they’re not trying to get any particular position, their looking to get the best guy, the best player out there.

Fortunately for the Warriors it doesn't appear that it will be a guard, for the Warriors if there is any position where their loaded is in the guard position, the back court. The have Stephen Curry, Monta Ellis, and they don't need any additional confusion in the point of the shooting guard position and they have so many guys.

The W's have plenty of swing players a lot of guys in that three position, those are spots that the Warriors just don't need guys at. This draft is pretty good in terms of big guys, the Warriors aren't going to get one of the top, top, guys right in the very beginning of the draft.

It's likely to be Favors the power forward from Georgia Tech, he's a young player and he's good, he can rebound, then you have Johnson whose a small forward out of Syracuse and he's a good scorer. Then there's Cousins who’s a center from Kentucky again a big guy with lots of talent but there's lots of question marks around him because of his attitude. Cousins is also one of the younger guys he's 20.

There are a lot of people who are concerned that he's not mature enough as a matter of fact one of the names that was thrown out was former Clipper Benoit Benjamin who was compared to Cousins and anybody whose an NBA fan remembers Benjamin who is not a positive comparison.

While Cousins has quite a bit of talent a lot of people think that his attitude as mature has a lot left to be desired. That's where the Benjamin comparison comes in. Let's be fair Benjamin has the talent but he has an attitude and he really never fixed it.

So we'll see what happens in the NBA draft on Thursday.
