On the final day of the regular season, the Golden State Warriors played a through game and possibly showed what can bring.

Stephen Curry scored a career-high 42 points while playing all 48 minutes, and Monta Ellis also played all 48 minutes and scored 34 points, as the Warriors ended their season on a high note with a 122-116 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers at the Rose Garden.

With the loss, the Trail Blazers fell to the sixth seed in the Western Conference Playoffs and will face the Utah Jazz in the first round, possibly without Brandon Roy, the team’s leading scorer.

Roy missed his second consecutive game after tearing the meniscus in his right knee, but Roy will be re-evaluated on Friday.

Curry was huge all night, and no two free throws were bigger than the two he hit with 1:07 remaining in the game and the Warriors held onto the lead for good.
