Ellis returns to lead Warriors

After missing the last seven games due to the flu, Monta Ellis returned to the Golden State Warriors lineup to lead the team to a big victory.
Ellis scored 27 points on 10-for-21 shooting ,as the Warriors came back from a 20-point deficit to defeat the Oklahoma City Thunder 120-117 at Oracle Arena.
Stephen Curry continues to a make a push for NBA Rookie of the Year, as he scored 25 points, while Reggie Williams added 20 points off the bench for the Warriors.
Most Valuable Player candidate Kevin Durant scored 40 points for the Thunder, despite going 13-for-29 from the field.
After trailing the Thunder by 17 points at the end of the first quarter, things looked bleak for the Warriors; however they outscored the Thunder 31-21, narrowing the Thunder lead down to 63-56 at the half.
Don Nelson was honored before the game, receiving a plaque from the team with the box score from his first NBA victory on November 20, 1976 and from his record breaker on Wednesday night.
Also in honor of Nelson breaking the record, Swen Nater, who played for Nelson in his first NBA win 33 years ago was in attendance to help with the celebration.
