With the record for most wins behind him, Don Nelson is probably looking forward to this season to come to an end.

Chris Kaman scored 27 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, as the Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Golden State Warriors 107-104 at Staples Center.

Steve Novak hit a big three-pointer with 2:46 remaining in the fourth quarter to propel the Clippers to the rare victory.

With the victory over the injury depleted Warriors, the Clippers broke their seven-game losing streak.

Baron Davis scored 21 points against his former team, grabbed five rebounds and dished off five assists in the three-point victory.

Davis left the game three minutes into the third quarter, as he injured himself and did not return to the contest.

Stephen Curry scored 29 points for the Warriors, but failed to score in the fourth quarter, while Reggie Williams added 22.

Anthony Tolliver’s three-pointer at the buzzer hit the back of the rim, and sent the Warriors to their 54th loss of the season.
