Don Nelson tied Lenny Wilkens for most wins in NBA history on Sunday afternoon, but this was not the night for Nelson to break the record.

JeVale McGee scored a career-high 25 points on 11-of-18 shooting, as the Washington Wizards defeated the Golden State Warriors 112-94 at the Verizon Center.

Both Monta Ellis and Ronny Turiaf missed the game due to the flu, C.J. Watson missed the game due to sore ribs, Chris Hunter played his most minutes since his breaking his nose and to make matters even worse, Stephen Curry jammed his shoulder on the first play of the game.

Despite jamming his shoulder, Curry toughed it out and scored 27 points, before pulled from the game early in the fourth quarter, as the game was already decided.

Nick Young scored a season-high 29 points, and Shaun Livingston tied his career-high with 21 points and Audray Blatche also scored 21 points.
