Beaubois rocks Warriors

OAKLAND-Very few people outside of the Dallas Mavericks and their fan base probably ever heard of Rodrigue Beaubois.
Well, that all changed with a fantastic performance by the rookie guard against the Golden State Warriors at Oracle Arena.
Beaubois scored a career-high 40 points, including hitting nine three-pointers and the Mavericks defeated the Warriors 111-90.
Overall on the evening , the 25th pick in this past summer’s draft went 15 of 22 from the field, which included 26 points in the first half.
Shawn Marion scored 18 points, Dirk Nowitzki picked up a double-double, as he scored 13 points and grabbed 10 rebounds and Caron Butler scored 14.
Corey Maggette scored 21 points for the Warriors, before leaving the game midway thru the fourth quarter after falling ill.
Monta Ellis scored 14 points before also leaving the game due to illness, and will not travel to Los Angeles for Sunday’s game versus the Clippers at Staples Center.
It was a career night for Anthony Tolliver, as he scored 19 points and grabbed a career-high 21 rebounds, breaking his previous career-high of 14 that was set on February 27 against the Detroit Pistons.
