Don Nelson was ejected in the first quarter, and it looked like he took his team to the locker room when he was shown the door.

Manu Ginobli scored 23 points and Richard Jefferson chipped in with 21, as the San Antonio Spurs throttled the Golden State Warriors 147-116 at the AT&T Center.

With the victory, the Spurs have now defeated the Warriors 24 consecutive times in San Antonio, a city where the Warriors have not won since February 14, 1997.

The 147 points by the Spurs were the most in the Gregg Popovich era, and the most points by the team since they scored 140 points against the Dallas Mavericks during the opening game of the 1991-1992 season.

Monta Ellis was the lone bright spot for the Warriors, as he scored 39 points

Nelson was ejected after picking up two technicals when arguing a C.J Watson foul call and was sent to the showers by Matt Boland.

Stephen Curry missed his second consecutive game after an MRI he suffered a slightly sprained left ankle on Tuesday
