OAKLAND--The Warriors are in the middle of a long road trip but remember the Warriors are the Warriors this is not a good team and they would have their hands full on any trip whether it's at home or on the road. The Warriors are just not a good team so everything is going to be tough.
To top it off half of their team is injured they're running out only eight guys every single night and three of those guys were in the D league a couple of months ago. This is a rough spot for the Warriors, they go on this long road trip, Monta Ellis is not there, Andris Biedrins isn't there, so they really have a short bench.
The road is tough already when you have a full team, the Warriors are simply not healthy, their missing guys left and right. This is going to be a brutal road trip and if you look at the Warriors schedule things don't bode well.
The W's are looking at this tough long road trip and they have a lot of tough teams to play, not that the Warriors are good in the first place but this is a season worst. They have already lost to Miami and Orlando, then they play in Atlanta, Charlotte, and New Orleans who are going to be a handful for Golden State.
They have two back to backs on this one with eight guys, they're not going to last. If you lose on the first night. The loss 110-106 against Miami might end up being their closet game and then the loss on Wednesday night 117-90 to Orlando was not close. With the eight guys Golden State has they're playing each of them at least 20 minutes apiece.
Now after completing a back to back now they're exhausted going into Atlanta who is a very good team by the way and then they follow up with Charlotte after that. They have two back to backs right in a row, this is not going to end well on this road trip.
The Warriors are already on a downward spiral the Warriors have to be worried about this lousy road trip it's just going to send them further down the road to the number two or number three pick in the draft because that's how bad their looking right now.
The Warriors have a couple of talented players on their team Stephen Curry has been doing very well and with Ellis out of the line up Curry has stepped it up and has done a pretty good job and other guys like C.J.Watson is putting his game face on and then playing hard.
Ronny Turiaf and some other players on this team, when your running out three D league guys it's going to be rough and when you have D league guys on back to backs on the road its brutal. It's March already you have one foot out the door for the season.
The Warriors are just playing out the string at this point, the Warriors should be worried if this road trip goes poorly it's just going to spiral for the rest of the season. This is unfortunate that the team is on the road especially with the team as banged up as it is but it's bound to happen at some point and if not this road trip it would be the next one.
It's another in a long line of an ugly Warriors season.
