Both Monta Ellis and Stephen Curry had bad shooting nights on Tuesday. Now this normally means that the Warriors have found themselves in the loss column once again.

But on this night, they were playing the Sacramento Kings, who aren't exactly a force to be reckoned with in the Western Conference, and the Warriors shook off a case of the bricks to down the impotent Kings, 93-90, at Oracle Arena to send Sacramento to their fifth straight defeat.

The Warriors shot only 41 percent from the floor – Ellis and Curry combined for 15 points on 6-for-24 shooting - while the Kings were 43 percent. However, while Sacramento committed 18 turnovers, the Warriors turned the ball over only eight times, which proved to be a deciding factor since the Kings dominated on the boards with a 53-38 edge.

Not everyone wearing a Golden State uniform had a bad shooting game, however. Brandon Rush came off the bench to score 20 points, making six of his 10 shots – including four of his five 3-point attempts – to do so. David Lee was 7-of-11 from the field and dropped in 15 points.

Tyreke Evans led the Kings with 22 points with 10 rebounds and nine assists, while DeMarcus Cousins chipped in with 21 to go along with 14 rebounds.
