If you thought that the Golden State Warriors would just roll over and concede defeat to the Cleveland Cavaliers, think again.
LeBron James scored 37 points, dished off 11 assists and grabbed eight rebounds, as the Cavaliers held off a furious Warriors rally to defeat the hosts for the fourth consecutive game at Oracle Arena 117-114 before a sellout crowd of 19,596.
Shaquille O’Neal scored 13 points and grabbed six rebounds in just 18 minutes of work, as the Cavaliers won on back-to-back nights for the sixth time in 11 attempts this season.
Corey Maggette led the Warriors with 32 points, and Monta Ellis added 30 points, dished off five assists, and picked up five steals.
Ellis came up with a huge steal and a three-pointer with 57.9 seconds remaining in the game to cut the Cavaliers lead down to 115-112.
Following a James jumper, Stephen Curry cut the Cavaliers lead down to three once again and things looked great after James missed a three with five seconds remaining; however Curry’s desperation three-pointer came up short.
