After playing just 13 games on their home floor, the Golden State Warriors now return home with a hard fought victory.

Monta Ellis scored 20 points, grabbed seven rebounds and dished off six assists, as the Warriors stopped their eight-game road losing streak with a 107-100 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Target Center.

Corey Maggette led the Warriors with 28 points, and Stephen Curry added 16 and the Warriors won their first road game since defeating the New Jersey Nets at the Izod Center on December 9.

The Timberwolves, who trailed by 19 points at one point during the game cut the lead down to three points at 98-95 with just 2:09 to play; however they were not able to come all the way back.
