In a 1:05pm afternoon game that was changed from the evening this Sunday, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Shaun Hill gets the chance to prove himself for a whole game against a winning team as the Niners face the newly crowned Southern NFC Division champion Buccaneers.

Hill has improve in the last two games he played. SF running back Frank Gore also played well last game and so did the defense.

San Francisco is now second to last in their division.

The 49ers will face newly returned and former SF quarterback, Jeff Garcia, and a defense that held the Falcons to 133 net yards. It will be seen if the Niners can be consistent and move forward with their victory from last week.

A rumor from the San Jose Mercury News indicated that Scot McCloughan, vice president of player personnel, has no inclination towards leaving the 49ers.

Tampa Bay beat up Atlanta 37-3 last week as a kickoff was returned for a touchdown for the first time in 32 seasons. They will try to do similar against SF.

Buccaneers’ Earnest Graham will be looking for his seventh straight game with a rushing TD.

The Niners lead this series as well by a wide margin, 14-3, and also have won two out of the last 3 matchups vs. the Buccaneers. This will be SF’s third straight game at home and last game at home for the season as both TB and the 49ers aim for a 2-win game streak.
