Did you really think that Barry Bonds would be playing the 2007 Major League Baseball season in another uniform?

That answer was a resounding no, as the slugger and the San Francisco Giants agreed to one-year contract worth $16 million.

Bonds will be turn 43 years old on July 24 is just 21 home runs shy of breaking Hank Aaron’s all-time record.

It will be a different team on the field when the spring training begins for the Giants in February, as the Giants will have a new manager in Bruce Bochy, who replaces Felipe Alou.

Also new to the team are centerfielder Dave Roberts and Bengie Molina and a familiar face will be back in Orange and Black, as Rich Aurilia returns to the organization.

Both Ray Durham, who spent most of last season hitting behind Bonds in he lineup as will third baseman Pedro Feliz.

Not only is Felipe Alou gone, but also his son Moises is gone, as he signed a contract with the New York Mets for one-year; however the Mets have the option to pickup the contract for the 2008 season.

Jason Schmidt looks like to be moving down to Los Angeles, to sign with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
