San Francisco faces another team going in the opposite direction as they are Sunday in facing the Arizona Cardinals in Arizona.

SF has the 2nd longest losing streak in the NFL and are tied with the Rams for last place in the NFC West.

If the 49ers lose to the Cardinals, it would be their first 9-game losing streak in about 30 years. It would also solidify a fifth straight losing season.

Alex Smith will nurse his injured right arm for another week as Trent Dilfer starts for the second week in a row. It would be nice to see more support for Dilfer this time around, compared to last matchup versus Arizona.

Hopefully, Frank Gore’s trend of 5 touchdowns in his last 3 games versus means at least a TD for him this game.

The 49ers will look for their first touchdown since November 4.

If Arizona wins, for the first time in 5 years, they would have a 3-game winning streak.

Quarterback Kurt Warner has been playing with a torn elbow ligament. He has done very well vs. SF. Larry Fitzgerald has not done well against them but has been playing well of late.

The Cardinals have won 5 of 6 games against San Francisco.

Watch the turnovers this game.
