This was definitely not the way that the Oakland Raiders wanted to end the preseason. But when you are facing a team that made it to the Super Bowl two seasons ago it may be the way it ends.

Yes, it is preseason, but the Seattle Seahawks played a solid game and came back with a late touchdown and the Seahawks defeated the Raiders 19-15 at Qwest Field.

Johnnie Lee Higgins got the Raiders on the board in the first quarter, as the exciting rookie from the University Texas El-Paso took a Ryan Plackmeier punt 90 yards to the end zone to give the Raiders an early 7-0 lead.

Just before the end of the first quarter, the Seahawks cut the Raiders lead down to 7-3, as Josh Brown hit a 33-yard field goal with nine seconds remaining in the opening quarter.

Seneca Wallace hit Nate Burleson for a 6-yard touchdown pass with just 4:35 gone in the second quarter to give the Seahawks a 10-7 lead.

When Dominic Rhodes was tackled in the end zone for a safety, the Seahawks raised their lead up to 12-7 and that was the score when the half came to an end.

Daunte Culpepper hooked up with James Adkisson for a five-yard touchdown pass to give the lead back to the Raiders.

That would be the lead, as Marquis Weeks scored from 11 yards out to give the Seahawks the lead and ultimately the game, as the Raiders ended the preseason with a record of 2-2.

Culpepper went 11-for-19 for 108 yards with the touchdown to Adkisson and an interception after replacing Josh McCown.
