The A’s (32-33) are looking to right the ship in the Windy City, as they take on the Chicago Cubs (28-35). Oakland has started the month of June with only four wins in 13 games and are looking to rebound from a disastrous sweep at the hands of their cross-Bay rivals this weekend. The Cubs are reeling a little themselves, losing four of their last five.

Oakland may have dodged a bullet, with Ted Lilly taking a no-no into the ninth inning on Sunday, but will still be facing the once-and-future Cub’s ace, Carlos Zambrano on his comeback tour to the starting rotation.

Both teams will be looking to make a move in their respective divisions, while A’s are still a respectable four games back in the Wild (American League) West, the Cubs (7.5 games back) are walking a dangerous line between being in the hunt and oblivion. Grumblings of discontent from the Friendly Confines are already beginning to be heard around the Sports nation.
