Cain dominant in Cincinnati

Not only was Matt Cain dominant on the mound, but he was not too shabby at the plate either against the Cincinnati Reds.
Cain pitched a complete game seven hitter, as the San Francisco Giants defeated the Reds 3-0 at Great American Ballpark.
This was the second shutout of the season for Cain, who also threw one against the Arizona Diamondbacks at AT&T Park on May 28.
Besides being outstanding on the mound, Cain picked up run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning in adidtion, he also picked up a single in the top of the fifth inning and the Giants made it three wins in a row on this road trip.
Juan Uribe got the Giants on the board in the top of the fourth inning, as he hit his ninth home run of the season, a upper deck solo blast off of Sam LeCure.
Scott Rolen was the only Reds player to reach third base on the evening versus Cain, who threw 116 pitches, walking just two and striking out five.
Bengie Molina, who is mired in a 4-for-55 slump picked up a RBI single for the Giants.
