Teemu Selanne played three seasons for the San Jose Sharks, but now he is playing for the Sharks rivals, the Anaheim Ducks.

Selanne scored a goal, in the first period the 599th of his career and the Ducks put an end to their five-game winless streak against the Sharks with a 4-2 victory at the Honda Center.

Corey Perry got the Ducks on the board in the first period, as he scored a goal against Evgeni Nabokov, as the Ducks scored three goals in the first period.

If the Sharks would have won the game and swept the season series, it would have been the third time in team that the Sharks swept the Ducks in a season series.

Joe Thornton and Jamie McGinn scored third period goals, but it was not enough, as Jonas Hiller made 31 saves against the Pacific Division leaders.

The final goal of the first period was scored by Lubomir Visnosky, as he scored on a 50-foot slap shot that eluded Nabokov.
