On a night when the Kings organization rallied in honor of rookie Tyreke Evans with free t-shirts and cardboard pictures of Evans in the hands of each fan the rookie came through in a big way. Evans became the first Kings rookie since Norm Van Lier in 1969 to record a triple double in his rookie season. Evans finished with 19 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. The last assists coming with just over a two minutes left in the contest.

After the game Kings coach Paul Wesphal talked about the rookie of the year race and how Evans fits into the conversation, " I don't really see how anybody else could get a vote if people look at the totality of the season, this year it's not even close. For what he's done game after game all the way through, he's one of the most consistent rookies I've ever seen."

Beno Udrih shot 10-14 from the floor and finished with a game high 24 points to go with 8 assists. Carl Landry and Donte Green each added 15 for the Kings.

Andrea Barnani led the Raptors with 20 points.

The Kings will continue the five game home stand Friday night against Portland.
