In his first game back in his hometown since turning professional, Stephen Curry was not able to lead the Golden State Warriors to a victory.
D.J Augustin scored 19 points and Gerald Wallace scored 18 points, as the Charlotte Bobcats sent the Warriors to their fourth straight loss with a 101-90 triumph by the Bobcats at the Time Warner Cable Arena.
Curry played all 48 minutes and scored 25 points in the city where his father Dell played in the NBA for the Charlotte Hornets.
Besides growing up in Charlotte, Curry also played his college basketball at Davidson College, a team that was eliminated in the opening round of the Southern Conference Tournament on Friday night.
The Warriors, who are already depleted due to injuries, lost Ronny Turiaf, when he aggravated his left knee injury.
Stephen Jackson went 5-for-16 from the field, while Boris Diaw scored 14 points, grabbed 12 and dished off nine assists, coming within one assist of the first triple-double in team history.
In his second game from injury, Corey Maggette scored 19 for the Warriors, who fall to 4-27 away from Oracle Arena.
