Even with Joe Johnson missing the game due to the flu, the Atlanta Hawks received support from four players.
Johnson did not play on Friday night against the Golden State Warriors due to a bout of the flu that felled upon one of the Hawks top players.
Josh Smith scored a season-high 29 points and Al Horford added 27, as the Hawks defeated the Warriors 127-122 at Phillips Arena.
Mike Bibby scored a season high 23 points, while former Warriors guard Jamal Crawford scored 12 of his 14 points in a pivotal fourth quarter, as the Hawks held off the Warriors at the end.
Stephen Curry led the Warriors with 31 points, but it was not enough, as they lost for the third game in a row and for the fifth time in six games.
Anthony Morrow, who played his college basketball at nearby Georgia Tech scored 21 points, while both Anthony Tolliver and C.J. Watson each scored 20 and Corey Maggette returned after a five-game absence to score 19.
