The Sacramento Kings got their first home win since a January 26th contest vs. Golden State Friday night with a 103-99 victory over the Utah Jazz. It was a back and forth game from the onset as the Kings were able to overcome another poor shooting performance from the free throw line (16-28) to get the victory. The Kings largest lead of the game was 8 and the Jazz largest lead was 6. There were 17 lead changes.

The Kings got an excellent game from the starting back court of Beno Urih and Tyreke Evans who combined for 49 points, 11 assists, 9 rebounds and 3 steals. It was the first start for Urich since the trade that sent Kevin Martin to Houston last week. The 25 points for Urich was a season high and a team high for the Kings who had a season-low 8 turnovers. Spencer Hawes got the start at center for the injured Jason Thompson and recorded his 8th double-double of the season finishing with 15 points and a game high 12 rebounds.

Utah lost for the first time in their last 8 games on the road. Carlos Boozer recorded his 38th double-double of the season with a game high 26 points to go with 10 rebounds. Deron Williams tallied his 28th double-double with 10 points and 13 assists, 10 of which came in the first half.

With the win Sacramento won the season series over Utah 2-1 and are now 14-14 at home. The Kings stay at home to face the Clippers at Arco Arena on Sunday night.
