Allen Iverson scored 15 points, dished off 10 assists and grabbed five steals, leading the Eastern Conference to a 125-115 victory at the 54th annual All-Star game at the Pepsi Center in Denver. The Eastern Conference broke a three-game losing streak.

Seattle Supersonics guard Ray Allen led all scorers with 17 points.

The anticipated feud between former teammates Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal never materialized. The two did not exchange greetings before the game and rarely ran into each other, except when Bryant was whistled for a foul when O’Neal drove the lane.

Bryant ended the evening with 16 points, seven assists, six rebounds and three steals for the West.

O’Neal scored 12 points on 6-for-11 shooting from the field, but his nemesis was once again his free throws, as the two-time game MVP went 0-for-3 from the charity stripe.

In his first All Star appearance, LeBron James scored 13 points, while pulling down eight rebounds and dealing six assists to his teammates.

James became the second youngest player in NBA All Star Game history behind Bryant.

Even though the Golden State Warriors had no representation at the game, two former players played.

Gilbert Arenas of the Washington Wizards scored seven points on 3-for-11 shooting, and Antawn Jamison, also of the Wizards, scored five points on 2-for-5 shooting from the field.
