Stealth Run for the Championship Ends – Lost to Calgary

Calgary hosted the west division finals on Saturday evening, facing off with San Jose Stealth for the chance to move forward. Calgary showed why they were the #1 overall team, as they handily beat San Jose 17-5. The play by play for San Jose here is pretty tough. Calgary dominated San Jose with a 15-0 run by the third quarter. San Jose put up 5 goals in a desperate effort to equalize, but they never came close. San Jose’s goalkeeper’s Roik and Richards played this one, alternating in and out. This ended the season for San Jose, Calgary moves on to play the New York Titans. |
