Stealth break the winless streak; beat the Knighthawks

San Jose, CA – The Stealth came out strong today, making up for their prior 2 losses with a commanding win at home. San Jose beat the Rochester Knighthawks with a score of 16-6.
With two assists from Kirk in the first 3 minutes, San Jose put up 2 quick goals, setting the pace for this game. The frenzy continued for the first 11 minutes, with San Jose putting up a whopping 6 goals on the net before Rochester could answer. The first quarter ended with Sorensen of the Stealth leading with 2 goals, with a score of 6-0 San Jose.
Rochester came out in the early part of the second quarter with a score, but San Jose answered back 2 minutes later with 3 more goals. Rochester again rallied toward the end of the quarter, but by the end of the second quarter, it was 10-3 for San Jose.
The third quarter saw San Jose go into another dominating rally of goals, extending their lead to 15-5. The fourth quarter saw only a few goals, ending the game with 16-6 win for San Jose.
J.Zwicki lead San Jose tonight with 5 goals. San Jose keeper Roik put up 38 saves, with Bold putting up 11 saves.
The Stealth meet up with the Calgary Roughnecks again on Saturday the 24th for an away game. Their next home game is January 31st against the Edmonton Rush.
