Sharks’ Clowe re-signed

It was announced yesterday that Sharks left winger Ryane Clowe will re-join the club for at least a year. Clowe, who was previously a restricted free agent, will get to continue his strong 2008 postseason and healthy regular season play. He got stronger after returning from knee surgery. Clowe was second on the team with nine points and tied for first with five goals scored during the playoffs. The 25-year-old from St. Johns, Newfoundland has accomplished this with only one full NHL season under his belt. |
