All of the sudden it seems that the San Jose Sharks are not able to win against the teams from the Western Conference.

It looked like the Sharks were on their way to their second consecutive President’s Trophy, but something different is happening to the Men in Teal.

Dustin Penner and Shawn Horcoff each scored a goal and added an assists, as the Edmonton Oilers defeated the Sharks 5-1 at Rexall Place.

With the loss, the Sharks have now gone winless in their last six games and have fallen a point behind both the Chicago Blackhawks and the Phoenix Coyotes for the best record in the Western Conference.

Ryan Clowe was the reason why that the Sharks were not shutout against the Oilers, as he scored a goal with 3:02 remaining in the game.

Devan Dubnyk made it two consecutive wins after starting his career 0-8-2 before notching his first win on Friday against the Detroit Red Wings.
