The Sabercats were literally perfect in their 89-41 dissection of the Crush Friday night in Denver. The two San Jose quarterbacks, Mark Grieb and Nick Rolovich, combined for 9 touchdown pass and completed all 17 pass attempts in the debacle.

Grieb passed for 331 yards and eight touchdowns in three quarters, before being relieved by Rolovich for mop-up work.

Grieb and Rodney Wright hooked up on the first play from scrimmage to score the `Cats first touchdown a meager 28 seconds into the game. San Jose never took their foot off the gas, notching an AFL record 13 touchdowns on the night.

Rashied Davis continued his tear through the AFL this season, tying a Sabercat record scoring seven times. Davis had six receiving touchdowns and 192 yards on nine catches. Davis also had one rushing touchdown.

Colorado’s John Dutton threw three interceptions in the first half, digging a hole that the Crush could not fight their way out of.
