OAKLAND--The Oakland Raiders just couldn't get to Peyton Manning of the Indianapolis Colts. Manning just passed all day and was just good enough to get by the Raiders by a touchdown in a fourth quarter miracle 21-14 victory at the Coliseum on Sunday.

The Raiders who are now 4-10, kept the pressure on Manning for much of the game but a fourth quarter touchdown pass with the Raiders just leading by one point, 14-13 sealed the deal for the Colts when Manning found wide out Anthony Gonzalez for a 20 yard toss to give the Colts a 21-14 win and a 12-2 record.

It was a Hall of Fame performance at the Oakland Coliseum by Manning who turned what could have been a Raider crucial win at the Coliseum against one of the best teams in the NFL. "It's one of those drives that you do at the right time. Part of it kind of makes you wish we could have done that earlier in the game and not have to rely on that, but it's always nice to know that you're capable of doing it," said Manning.

With the win the Colts clinch a first round bye and the home field winning the AFC South division crown . The Colts now will be seeded at #2 for the playoffs and are the first NFL team to have won 12 games in five years straight.

Manning threw for 276 yards and going for 22-39 with a touchdown and a interception. The Raiders Josh McCown started the ball game for the Raiders with a 13-24 for 94 yards and left at the tail end of the fourth quarter which saw JaMarcus Russell trying to win the game in a desperate attempt to get the ball in the end zone.

The Colts set up the blocks and defended against the pass well and kept the game and Russell in check for the wrap up with Russell going 2-5 for 10 yards. Russell will need more time than that to make it happen and he should see more action before the season is completed.

The Raiders are in Jacksonville next Sunday at 10:00 AM in hopes for their fifth win of the season.
