Finally, the Green Bay Packers are going to the playoffs after missing out on the post-season over the last two seasons.

Ryan Grant ran for a career-high 156 yards and a touchdown, his fourth 100-yard game of the season and the Packers simply destroyed the Oakland Raiders 38-7 at Lambeau Field.

Josh McCown went just 7-for-15 for 110 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions before being replaced by Andrew Walter in the fourth quarter.

Justin Fargas was forced to leave the game in the fourth quarter, as he suffered a bruised rib.

Before leaving the game, Fargas carried the ball 15 times for 57 yards.

Grant put the Packers on the board with a six-yard touchdown run after a short Shane Lechler punt in the second quarter.

After the Raiders were unable to put any points on the board, the Packers stretched the led up to 14-0, as Will Blackmon scored on a punt return.

It was the first time in Lechler’s eight-year career that a punt was returned for a touchdown.

The Raiders scored only points of the game just before halftime, as McCown hooked up with Jerry Porter for a 25-yard touchdown pass that slipped through the hands of Packers cornerback Al Harris.

Things got even worse on the first Packers possessions after the teams’ came out from the locker room for the second half.

Mason Crosby hit a 44-yard field goal, and Bret Favre hit Greg Jennings for an 80-yard touchdown pass to give the Packers what turned out to be an insurmountable 17-point lead.

Tim Dwight was unable to hold to the Jon Ryan punt and Blackmon recovered the ball in the end zone to give the Packers a 31-7 lead

This was the first time that the Packers scored two special teams touchdowns in the same game since 1986.

Despite throwing a touchdown to Donald Lee in the fourth quarter, Favre went 15-for-23 with 266 yards passing, two touchdowns and a interception.

By starting the game versus the Raiders, Favre stretched his NFL record for consecutive game started up to 250 games.
