As of right now, the game on Sunday between the Raiders and the Houston Texans which would be on KPIX CBS 5 in the Bay Area, might not be shown only if the game is to miraculously be sold out by 1:15PM on Thursday afternoon, which according to KPIX has said a black out is very likely and that the team's ticket sales at the Coliseum box office during Wednesday was not as brisk as you would expect.

The main event card is not enticing either you have the Raiders who have been riding on a truck with three wheels and two wins and five loses, and the Houston Texans who pay Oakland a visit come in with a 3-4 record but not exactly the reputation of a world beater . Houston had of the worst records in the NFL last season. The three wins for the Texans is a step up.

Nothing would be more difficult for the franchise as to be blacked out after dropping their last three games. The Raiders who lost one of those three at home do not want to face another loss in the L column as they are at home and would like to make a good showing of it but too bad no one will be able to see it locally. KPIX plans to substitute the game for the Colts and Patriots game both teams are undefeated. Now there's a game for your Nielson ratings.

Coach Kiffin promises to get tougher for the Texans-Raiders gathering: After having leads in five of their last seven ball games Coach Kiffin is seething the club does not have at least an above .500 record right now.

"The first meeting I ever had I told the players, we are going to win here. We're going to win a lot of game here. I don't know how fast it will happen. I can't predict that. That is going to have to do with how fast this room buys in obviously. when you are winning it makes it a lot easier," said Kiffin.

Quarterback Daunte Culpepper said that they whole team needs to pull together. It didn't happen in either of the close ball games against the Chargers or the Titans and the Chargers took care of business on October 14th beating the Raiders 28-14.

Culpepper referred to the team working together and making things happen. The Raiders want to finish ball games and also start scoring late in ball games something they haven't done this season, "Whatever happened during the course of the game, we're right there, we've just got to start pulling our weight a little more on the offensive side and I think this team can get on a run. We've got to stay together, and I'm going to work my hardest to make sure we do," said Culpepper.

Mike Williams cut by club: The Raiders announced today that they have cut Mike Williams wide receiver. Williams who was acquired by the Raiders when the Raiders attained quarterback Josh McCown from the Lions.

Williams had missed mini camp and his off-season workouts. Williams made it onto the regular season roster but Coffin was not satisfied with Williams play and the last draw came when Williams then was hit for a penalty in the Tennessee game by making an illegal shift penalty that blew a third down conversion. In the same game, Williams dropped a pass on 4-14 with 1:17 to go.

The Raiders host the Houston Texans at the Coliseum TV or no TV kick off is at 1:15PM PST Sunday.
