OAKLAND-Arian Foster may have sat out the first quarter due to bad behavior, but what a difference a quarter or half can make.
Foster raced 74 yards for a touchdown, and also caught a 10-yard touchdown pass, both in the second half and the Houston Texans defeated the Oakland Raiders 31-24 before just 32,318 at the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum.
The 32,318 that attended the game was the smallest in Oakland since 30,738 attended the home finale against the Buffalo Bills in 1967.
Matt Schaub went 16-for-29 for 192 yards and two touchdowns, as he broke David Carr’s team record with his 60th touchdown pass.
Bruce Gradowski turned the ball over three times, including an interception in the waning moments and the Texans escaped with a hard fought victory.
On the afternoon, Gradkowski went 24-for-39 for 278 yards passing and a touchdown to Marcel Reese, with 11 of those 24 completions went to tight end Zach Miller.
