With the regular season opener looming in just six days, the Oakland Raiders anxiously are await for their newest acquisition.
Richard Seymour, who the Raiders acquired from the New England Patriots still is not wearing the colors of the Raiders, with the San Diego Chargers coming to the Coliseum to begin the 50th season in history of the Oakland/Los Angeles/Oakland Raiders.
Seymour, who was drafted by the Patriots in 2001, was a part of the three Super Bowl winning teams for the Patriots along with being a five-time pro bowler.
The Raiders gave up their first round pick in the 2011 draft to get Seymour, and this is not the first trade between the two teams this summer.
Earlier this summer, the Raiders traded disgruntled defensive lineman Derek Burgess to the Patriots and of course, no one will ever forget the Randy Moss trade before the 2007 season.
Wide receiver Doug Gabriel was also traded by the Raiders to the Patriots a few years back, but then came back to the team after the Patriots released him.
