It may just be the preseason, but whenever the Oakland Raiders and the San Francisco 49ers meet on a football field, something is always at stake. This preseason nothing is different, as both the Raiders and the 49ers enter their annual preseason battle this Saturday night at the Coliseum with the same 2-0 records. The Raiders are coming off a convincing 32-17 victory over the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field this past Saturday night, and the 49ers defeated the Minnesota Vikings 15-10 before a Nationally televised audience from Candlestick Park on Sunday night. After playing each other on Saturday night at the Coliseum, these two teams will see each other on Sunday October 17, as the Raiders and the 49ers meet in a regular season game for the first time since October 8, 2006. |
