OAKLAND-Yes, the Oakland Raiders were playing for just pride, on the other side of things, the Baltimore Ravens were looking to making the playoffs.

Willis McGhee scored three touchdowns, including a 77-yard scamper that included a hellacious stiff arm on defensive back Hiram Eugene and the Ravens clinched a playoff berth with a 21-13 victory over the Raiders before just 38,400 at the Coliseum.

McGhee gained a career-high 167 yards on the afternoon, as the Ravens clinched their second consecutive playoff berth under head coach John Harbaugh.

Charlie Frye started the game for the Raiders, but was relieved in the second half by JaMarcus Russell after suffering both ankle and back injuries.

Before being forced to leave the game with those injuries, 18-for-25 for 180 yards passing and a touchdown to Zach Miller.

Despite being effective on the afternoon, Russell was once again booed by the fans, as he threw an interception and a fumbled the ball.

You can’t turn the ball over when you’re playing a team as good as the Ravens,” Russell said.

Russell was 9-for-14 for 102 yards passing, as the Raiders ended the season with two consecutive losses.

On the season, the former number one pick back in 2007, threw just three touchdowns and committed 17 turnovers.

With the loss, the Raiders lost their 11th game of the season, extending their record of consecutive 11 loss seasons up to seven.

“I’m disappointed because we didn’t win,” said Tom Cable. “I thought we were going to. And yet I feel excited about what’s coming back. But there’s got to be some things added and tweaked and fixed.”

Sebastian Janikowski kicked two field goals and added an extra point, giving the left-footed kicker a Raiders record 1,000 points for his career.
