Toronto – San Jose travelled to Toronto as their season winds down hoping to pick up a win and dash Toronto’s playoff hopes. It appears they did just that, as they scraped a goal out in final injury time to tie the game 1-1.

The Quakes defense was able to stop the Toronto offense the first half and not allow any goals, unfortunately, the same held true for Toronto and the first half went scoreless.

Toronto came through quick into the second half with their goal, in the 47th minute as Ex-Quake Dwayne De Rosario sent a long cross pass finding team mate Attakora who put it in the net.

Toronto held San Jose down until the end of the match, and stoppage time began.

3 minutes into stoppage time Cornell Glen fired one of his powerful shots on the goal, and he found the net and the equalizer.

San Jose and Toronto both are quite familiar with late game goals, Toronto has given up goals past the 75th minute 15 times and San Jose has done it 12 times.

San Jose has two more games left. They play Chivas USA and LA Galaxy in the next 2 weekends. They will be looking to avenge their season losses and end the season strong.
