Colorado – San Jose travelled to Colorado for an away game tonight, hoping to grab a win and slow down Colorado’s drive for the playoffs. But it would be a repeat of last weeks game, ending in a 1-1 tie.

First half – Where was San Jose’s offense? After a third minute attempt that gave the impression San Jose would come on strong, after that point, the offense would be all but non-existent until the second half.

San Jose would score their only goal in the 67th minute as Wondolowski beat Preston Burpo on a penalty kick.

San Jose then held on to get to the 90th minute with their lead. But, unfortunately for them, the game ends after stoppage time, and thanks to an Omar Cummings foul, Colorado equalized the game on another penalty kick.

"This was deja vu," Quakes Head Coach Frank Yallop said. "It was like Groundhog Day."

Groundhog day is over, San Jose plays on the road again Sunday Sept 27th, as they take on D.C. United.
