A-Rod denies steroid use: In a CBS 60 minutes interview on Sunday, the New York Yankees Alex Rodriguez said "no" when asked if he uses steroids in an interview. "I've never felt over matched on the baseball field. I felt if I did my work I've done since I was, you know, a rookie back in Seattle, I don't have a problem competing at any level," said A-Rod.
Rodriguez was not mentioned in may of the 400 page report by Mitchell released on Thursday. Rodriguez almost walked away from the Yankees seeking free agency then realizing that he could fetch for top dollar by staying in New York getting a ten year deal worth $275 million.
