Question 1: The Cal Bears are 6-1 going home against Delaware State. The Bears are coming off a tough loss in Kansas but what do you like about Cal going into Thursday night's match?
Mid major teams like Delaware State are the kind of teams that all larger schools should watch out for. Delaware State plays in the MEAC with teams like my beloved Howard University, Hampton University, and Morgan State (now coached by Todd Boezman).
The teams are playing well against some of the larger colleges and universities. They have lost more games than they have one, but the losses are not blowouts. That is what you must keep in mind. If a mid-major can play the larger schools close, then there is always a chance that they can loose the game. Del State has been to the NCAA tournament in the past two years, so it should be an interesting game.
Question #2: The Stanford Cardinal are now riding high at 8-1 9th in the Pac 10. They host Santa Clara on Wednesday December 19th. The Cardinal have done almost everything right what chance does Santa Clara have in this match?
As much as any other team. Didn't you read the last question. No team is an island, not even Stanford.
Question #3: Back to the Bears and the final question for the week the Bears were called for all sorts of fouls in their first loss of the year in Kansas. It is just one of the game's that sometimes the calls don't go your way. Observers say that the Bears had many calls against them in that game was it a matter of the officials just didn't call a good game?
I won't disagree that they got some bum calls, but the Bears don't do what they need to do, to win the game in spite of the refs. If you play a tighter game the refs don't come into play.
