Sportsradio: Cal's loss to the Oregon State Beavers one of the toughest loses of the year resulting in an concussion injury for running back Javhid Best who left the game in the first half silencing the Bear offense for much of the rest of the game and quarterback Kevin Reilly just couldn't get anything going 19-34 for 201 yards and one touchdown. It wasn't enough as the Beavers win it 31-14.

The situation with Jahvid Best was very sad for CAL fans and non-CAL fans all over the country. Kevin Riley was erratic during the game, and the Beavers were just dominant on both sides of the ball. To me, Jeff Tedford should sit Best out for the remainder of the regular season and if he is okay, he could be ready for the bowl game.

Sportsradio: Stanford kept pouring it on with big help from Toby Gerhart with 38 carries for 228 yards and three touchdowns. Both teams combined for 1000 yards offense and 93 points but it was Stanford's defense that helped close off the Ducks at the end of the game as the Cardinal just get by Oregon 51-42. One of the biggest wins of the season for Stanford and head coach Jim Harbaugh.

The Cardinal are a great team, and it is great to see them go bowling after an eight-year absence. Toby Gerhart is a great player, and he will definitely be a great pro next year.

Sportsradio: With Stanford's win and going to USC next Saturday the Cardinal all they can think of is keep winning USC played a tight game Arizona State on Saturday. The game that everyone is still talking about is the SC loss to Oregon but when Stanford gets to USC that will no doubt be the second straight biggest test for the Cardinal and USC wants this one bad how do you see this match up?

It will be a very interesting game at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum between the Cardinal and the Trojans, but the Trojans will forever remember what occured the last time these two teams played at 3911 S. Figueroa.
