Cal football: Was this win by Cal over Oregon more about the bad weather on Saturday and Orgeon 6-3 (4-2) couldn’t get any offense going in the first half or was it that Cal just held the Ducks on defense for the win?
This win is about many different things. Yes, the weather, yes, Cal held the Oregon defense. It was just one of those games that you could take any one excuse and attach it to why Oregon lost. But, the bottom line is Oregon lost. Oregon plays in this type of weather all the time.
Stanford football: The Cardinal 5-4 (4-2) took it the Washington State Cougars 1-8 (0-6) on Saturday at Stanford 58-0. The Cougars have been so bad they've invited walk-ons to try out. The Cardinal used three quarterbacks and after scoring 58 points only one quarterback on the Cardinal threw for one touchdown TJ Pritchard. The Cardinal will be at Oregon on Saturday, Michelle will that be a different game than Saturday's for Stanford?
I told you that Stanford is learning how to win again. All they needed was someone to tell them it was ok to be winners. I can see the Cardinal playing in the Emerald Bowl against, maybe Florida State. Keep it up Cardinal, it's been a long time since we've seen you guys play with heart and determination.
Final Thoughts:
1. Was that the most anti-climactic World Series you've ever seen?
2. How bout' them Red Raiders!!!
3. Is Joe Paterno a genius again?
