I'm Brett Farve hear me roar! Farve over 40 and still throwing the ball like he was in prime time shape and doing it in Lambeau against his old mates. After Sunday's game he felt every bit of his age but these days when doesn't he?

Farve has the ability and the attitude and the fact that he's had a difficult time trying to decide if he wants to retire. That's about the only annoying thing. As far as that goes he can still fling the football around at that age he's going to make the record for the all time passing record impossible to touch.

Half of what Farve has been through has been of his own creation with the "oh I'm going to retire, oh I'm sorry I'm not going to retire." Granted it made a certain cable network very happy because their talent gets a kick out of promoting him.

For Farve he just keeps up keeping on keeping on. It's quiet frankly great to see. It makes the Vikings in the NFC North oh I don't know.. make the Super Bowl! The Vikes have one of the better runners in the NFC in Adrian Peterson as well and the offensive line they've got two guys who can throw blocks.

I got to think the Vikings are going to be right there if their not favored to at least get into the NFC Championship game right now if not quiet frankly it would be surprising.

NASCAR Biggest reason for Talladega: Yes absolutely NASCAR did nurture Talladega, it wasn't as much of a race as it was a precession, it was a disaster waiting to happen. As Ryan Newman heard him say after he got air borne and wrecked out.

NASCAR painted that driver into that box and to hear Newman say no one cares about him that's telling, that's revealing, in the heat of the moment. NASCAR has put itself in a corner, it's going to take a lot of creative finagling to paint theirselves out of it. That's sad when you think about it.

NASCAR is now issuing severe penalties on bumping and they had this approach in 2005 and they didn't bother to enforce it and now here they are making threats about stricter penalities, I'm like "make up your mind, what is the move?" What is going to work? It has turned the race into a freak show and just makes it harder for everybody.

Ryan Newman going wheels up. Right now this race is as over as possibly you can get without it actually being over. Jimmie Johnson had a 184 point lead. He was no where near the front all day and because of the carnage being what it was he found a way to snake his way through he got lucky with a good call when to do the last pit stop and he ended up sixth.

I love it but I was dumbfounded he ran like a wimp all day he stayed out of gas and yeah he stayed out of trouble but darn it at least his team mate ran up for it and they paid the price.

Spikes has got to watch that eye-gouging act: Florida's linebacker Brandon Spikes has got to watch where he does that three stooges thing with his fingers to his opponents eyes. Head coach Urban Meyer sat him down for the second half after Spikes reached into Georgia running back Washaun Ealey's eyes.

Florida yes they are the number one team in the land and Meyer teaches his teams to do a little better than that but sportsmanship comes into question and as much as Florida's offense has tried to stay perfect they ought to keep winning. It's just something your going to take lightly with the gouging of eyes and the issues of good sportsmanship and all that.

Montgomery may litigate: Cal Bears head coach Mike Montgomery may file litigation charges against former employer the Golden State Warriors for failing to pay him the remainder of his salary which is valued at $900,000. The Warriors lawyer said that the money was doled out to Montgomery and Monty says he never received the remaining balance of the salary and is rather shocked that the Warriors are fighting him over the remaining balance.

What do you expect from the Warriors, it's bad enough the Warriors organization is what it is which basically for the most part is almost all bad. At the same time it's always better to pay the employees, don't go fudging around and making excuses why you don't want to pay.

Montgomery deserves the money, even though he didn't stick around as long as he probably should have. I digress by saying that the $900,000 should have not come to a legal battle and the Warriors should settle and pay the man what you agreed in writing to pay. Then the Warrior organization wonders why they are incredibly bad.

Sharks unstoppable: The San Jose Sharks have found some momentum finally after a mixed opening of the season. Based on what we saw last Sunday and what we saw of the Sharks last week on Wednesday and Friday the Sharks have played absolutely 100% better hockey. It's going to be all out until they determine all this hot play into some thing more than just one round of post season action next spring.
