Sportstalk: Michelle the number eight ranked and first place in Atlantic coast Clemson Tigers 7-0 (4-0) are battling North Carolina 5-2 (1-2) this Saturday. For the Tigers it's been about the offense with a huge 56-45 win over the Maryland Terrapins last Saturday. Tigers quarterback Tajh Boyd let loose throwing for 270 yards and four touchdowns, and completing 26 passes for the win. Talk about Clemson's offense and what you see they and Boyd having in store for the Tar Heels on Saturday?

Clemson is on a roll, I don't see North Carolina giving them any real challenge. The way the Clemson Tiger are playing could go undefeated in the ACC. This is going to be very interesting and fun to watch. I'm tired of hearing about Andrew Luck. We know he's going to be the number one overall draft pick, but they will not challenge for the national championship.

Sportstalk: Penn State Nittany Lions 6-1 (3-0) and first in the Big Ten face the fifth place Northwestern Wild Cats 2-4 (0-3) this Saturday. They played against Purdue 3-3 (1-1) and beat the Boilermakers in a close contest 23-18. Looking at Northwestern should this be a different situation with the Wild Cats playing under.500 ball and Penn St.being at the top of their game with a perfect record but things could change as Denzel Washington once said "on any given Saturday" how do you see this match for this Saturday for Penn State?

I see the Nittany Lions winning, but never, ever count out a team with nothing to lose. The Wildcats are 0-3 in division play, and that's what makes them dangerous. We are more than halfway through the seasons and every win counts. A Penn State loss to Northwestern can and will have an effect on what bowl game they play in, so I suggest you don't take them lightly.

Sportstalk: In the mid American-East Division the first place Temple Owls 5-2 (3-1) get set for battle against the Bowling Green Falcons 3-4 (1-2) this Saturday Oct 22. The Owls shut out the Buffalo Bills 2-5 (1-2) last Saturday Oct15th with a 34-0 win. Owls running back Bernard Pierce had a big day with 152 yards and two touchdowns, and 23 carries and quarterback Chester Stewart had the quiet day for the Owls while Pierce did most of the work Stewart had 58 yards passing, completing seven passes, and no touchdown passes. Against Bowling Green how much of an A game does Stewart need to bring to his quarterbacking and how much will the Owls rely on Pierce this week?

Temple will have to bring all they got. Never count out Bowling Green out, even if they are 1-2 in the MAC. They can still give the Owls a run for their money. As long as Temple runs the ball they'll be ok. They are 8th in rushing yards. It should be a fun game for all with the Owls winning.

Final Thoughts:

1. Hey Rick Neuheisel . . . How does it feel to looking unemployment in the face. How does a team get beat down by a team that is being coach by an interim coach? You have overstayed your welcome in Los Angeles. Goodbye!! By the way 10 UCLA & Arizona players were suspended for the on-field brawl that broke out at the end of the 1st quarter.

2.Tim Tebow will start this week replacing Kyle Orton as the starting QB for the Denver Broncos. WHO CARES!!! ENOUGH TALK ABOUT A GUY WHO'S GM AND COACH DON'T BELIEVE HAS THE STUFF!! I don't hate Tim Tebow, but I'm so tired of hearing the media slobber over this guy. He's not the second coming of Bart Starr. Now all you Bronco fans who been drooling for Tebow to run the offense get what you want. Be careful what you wish for, cause you just might get it.
