Phillies starter Cliff Lee dominated the Los Angeles hitters while teammates Ryan Howard and Jayson Werth supplied the early punch Sunday, as Philadelphia crushed the Dodgers 11-0 in game three of the National League Championship Series at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia.

With the victory, the Phillies take a 2-games-to-1 series lead into game four, scheduled for Monday night. Joe Blanton will start for Philadelphia, while the Dodgers counter with Randy Wolf.

Lee, acquired from the Cleveland Indians at mid-season, struck out 10 and allowed three hits over eight innings to earn the victory while facing only two batters over the minimum. He has a 2-0 record with an ERA of 0.74 in three postseason starts for the Phils.

Howard collected three runs batted in, including a two-out run-scoring triple in the first inning. Werth followed with a two-run homer. With the game well in hand, Lee singled in the eighth inning and scored on Shane Victorino’s three-run homer.

The American League Championship Series had an off day on Sunday, and will resume on Monday afternoon in Anaheim. The New York Yankees have a 2-games-to-0 lead over the Los Angeles Angels in the ALCS.
