Sportstalk: The LSU Tigers 5-0 (2-0) are the number one ranked school on the AP Poll this week and face the Florida Gators 4-1 (2-1) at LSU on Saturday. Tigers quarterback Jarrett Lee has been the difference and has thrown for 793 yards, with seven touchdowns, and 64 completions this season. The Tigers drilled Kentucky last week 35-7 and Lee threw for one touchdown, 169 yards, eight completions in that game, Michelle how do you see Lee and the Tigers matched up against this Gator team this Saturday?

To put it plainly LSU is on a collision course with Oklahoma for the National Title Game. The LSU defense is eating teams alive and Les Miles has kept his teams head together in the midst of all that happened at the beginning of the season. The Gators won't be blown out, but they will be beat up.

Sportstalk: USA Today has polled Oklahoma 4-0 (1-0) at number one going into this Saturday's match up against Texas 4-1 (1-0). The Sooners have won five straight including a 62-6 romp over Ball State last Saturday. The Sooners quarterback Landry Jones threw for 425 yards, five touchdowns, will this game be a barn burner or a tight game for Oklahoma?

This game will start out tight with OU pulling away for the victory. Texas has two freshman QBs who just don't really know what Texas/OU weekend is all about. It's a border war. One of the most heated football rivalries of all time. I've never been to a Ohio State/Michigan game but Texas/OU weekend is so big they can't play it in their home stadiums. Now you make the call.

Sportstalk: The Georgia Southern Eagles 4-0 (3-0) polled number one in the TCS Coaches (I-A-A) poll, The Eagles have got a huge win over Elon last Saturday 3-2 (1-1) with a 41-14 win. The Eagles quarterback Jaybo Shawn threw for three touchdown passes in the Eagles commanding lead and now they gear up for Chattanooga 3-2 (0-2) this Saturday. Would you say it's lights out Eagles win over Chattanooga?

Not so Tennessee Chattanooga at the bottom of the Southern Conference. It's going to take a miracle for them to get past a streaking Georgia Southern team. Halloween is a couple of weeks away, but I can already hear the Boos!!

Final Thoughts

1. The Minnesota Lynx have one their first WNBA Championship and Simone Augustus has been crowned MVP. Angel McCautry and the Atlanta Dream gave everything they had,but Augustus, Maya Moore and company were just too much. Good job ladies.

2.TCU is considering joining the Big 12. Who didn't see this coming?? Yeah, I know that they agreed to go to the Big East, TCU is in Texas and they know where their fan base is.
