1. Ryan Christian lit it up for the TCU Horned Frogs carrying for 19 for 82 and scored a critical touchdown against the Stanford Cardinal in a short one yard carry that helped TCU get a healthy win 31-14. Now after the loss at against TCU the Cardinal come home to face the San Jose Spartans. How do you like this match up and for sure they'll be a lot of San Jose Alumni coming to this game?
I don't like this match up. Stanford should beat San Jose State. If they don't Coach Harbaugh has not taken this team as far ahead as I thought. Although Stanford will be at the bottom of the Pac 10. I don't think that SJSU has the weapons to beat the Cardinal. Remember who told you that Stanford would loose to TCU?
2. The Cal Bears had their furry Bear heads handed to them last Saturday by the Maryland Terrapins 24-14. The week before the Bears blew out Washington State. What Cal team will show up this Saturday when the Bears host Colorado State?
Cal should have beat Maryland. The teams were very evenly matched. Cal will be Colorado State and get back on track.
3. Michelle if you can change any rule in the NCAA that really bugs you which one would it be? Perhaps a lack of support for colleges that don't get the support and have to go to a lesser division later or choice.
Don't blame the NCAA because teams can't fill their stadiums and move down to Divsion I sub-division. And please understand that the NCAA is all the presidents of all the member institutions. So, whatever is going on in the NCAA that you don't like take it up with your university president. I can't think of one rule that I dislike in particular. I guess what I hate the most is how coaches are not held responsible for graduating athletes and it doesn't affect their paycheck. This is not really a rule just bad business practice to me.
Final Thoughts:1. Florida is at Tennessee this week, and I am hoping that the Vols find their way and beat the Gators.
2. How sick are you of hearing that Al Davis is going to fire Lane Kiffin. Either do it or shut up and let the man do his job. It's not like you have had a lot of luck with coaches in the last five years. I'll go as far as saying that right now coaching the Raiders is the worst coaching job in the NFL.
3. I not a big baseball fan, but the Astros got hosed when they had to play the Cubs in Milwaukee.
